shaping public opinion — “When you control the information, you control the minds of the masses” Powerful people have realized this and many have strong business interests in media for the particular reason to use the full strength and force of the media outlet to further their political goals and objectives. Not only do these people exert major control over traditional media, but have also began to buy up culturally relevant entertainment and meme accounts in an effort to subliminally shape public opinion through the viewing of their media.

In addition to these straightforward steps:

When you control the information, you control the minds of the masses.

To shape public opinion you must have the resources to rapidly disseminate information and narratives, with a specific focus on subliminal advertisement of campaigns and manipulation of culture/societal norms to shift the public sentiment in your favor. This would result in the instilling of thoughts and opinions onto the population, with them believing they formulated the opinions themselves.

Coordinating massive campaigns through media contacts, social media influencers, entertainment and meme accounts, cultural icons and elected officials can rapidly change public sentiment, if conducted in both a subliminal and traditional fashion.
