Michael Coudrey: We organized a Free Speech Rally at San Francisco City Hall to raise awareness about conservative censorship

Large social media companies are beginning to crack down on prominent conservatives, arbitrarily banning and silencing from their platforms under false and fraudulent pretenses. It appears they are doing this to intentionally silence their political opposition ahead of the 2020 election cycle in their attempt to manipulate the balance of power and influence on social media.

Imagine this: Silicon Vally tech companies are intentionally manipulating Federal Elections through censorship under fraudulent pretenses.
We decided to hold a free speech rally in San Francisco to let them know we will not be silenced for our political beliefs. Being that this was liberal San Francisco, the event attracted a number of Antifa and violent protesters. Fortunately police were well equipped and prepared, and separated the protesters and the attendees.

A few days ago, Facebook and Instagram banned notable conservatives Alex Jones, Milo Yiannopoulos, Paul Joseph Watson and Laura Loomer. They ponderously labeled these individuals “dangerous” or “hateful” and silenced them from their platform.
Because social media companies exert such a monopoly in their space, it can be argued they should be regulated to ensure the public is not being unilaterally silenced off platforms that 80% of the US population use. Social media is this centuries public square, and being arbitrary banned from this societal norm for your political beliefs is both inhumane and abhorrent.
Even if you think what someone is saying is hateful, it is unconstitutional to silence them. Their ideas should be DEBATED, not SILENCED.
