The controversial movie “Unplanned” is now available in theaters nationwide. It’s a powerful and compelling film based on the true story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood abortion clinic director who later became a pro-life activist.
Despite Twitter suspending the Unplanned movies account, TV networks refusing to sell ad time to them, a targeted R rating from the MPAA, and a myriad of blockages attempting to undermine their film, they pushed through and grossed $17,771,072 at the box office within their first 30 days, with $6,382,298 coming in on opening weekend.
After Unplanned’s Twitter suspension & national backlash (and reinstatement), their follower count jumped from 7k to over 120k in less than 24 hours.
